In one of their recent revitalization projects in downtown Cleveland, Fiorilli Construction is working via an Integrated Project Delivery model. This model allows interaction between the Architect, Owner and the Construction team from the beginning of the project to completion to enable the entire group to avoid the common pitfalls of some design-bid-build processes and work towards a common goal: A project that is completed on time and under budget. Using this modified delivery system, Fiorilli Construction is currently coordinating with the Owner, the City of Cleveland's new sustainable mandates, tenants and Cleveland State University to fully reconfigure and restore 1938 Euclid Avenue, also known as the old Morse Graphics Building. Recognizing the need to distinguish itself from others, another one of Fiorilli Construction's differentiator's is becoming the region's leading resource and authority in sustainable building practices for our clients and prospective customers. Fiorilli Construction has developed a Sustainable Practices Training for Green Advantage Environmental Certification course for our internal staff as well as offering training classes to our clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors and general public. This is the only training course in Ohio of it's kind. As a result, FCI has produced numerous Gold and Silver LEED projects, and has LEEP AP's on staff to answer questions and to ensure that our Sustainable projects meet all of the required goals for LEED Certification. The impacts and results
of taking a Sustainable approach to building construction have a tangible
and measurable effect. Not only does it affect the surrounding environment,
Sustainable construction also impacts your bottom line with respect
to return on investment. Fiorilli Construction can provide a side by
side comparison on a per project basis to identify the components of
your project that already meet LEED requirements and are applicable
in gaining certification. In addition, we can evaluate your needs and
provide alternates to your proposed plans to properly align with the
LEED program. This process results in a comprehensive list identifying
the short and long term cost impacts and resulting return on investment.
FCI's professionals can provide you with measurable evidence on the
value of Sustainable Building Practices. Fiorilli Construction has imbedded itself in downtown Cleveland to be a partner for new businesses considering re-locating to downtown and to existing business' looking to move locations, remodel existing space or renovate existing space. Helping with the due diligence needed when looking at building space to ensure the best decision for a company is being made, only helps with the long term, relationship driven, standard by which Fiorilli Construction operates within its current book of business.
